How to Check and Understand Your Browser Fingerprint

What is a browser fingerprint?
You can think of a browser fingerprint as the digital ID of your device. It contains various information that the browser shares with websites, such as your IP address, browser version, screen size, operating system, fonts, and so on. All these small details combined create a unique fingerprint that websites can use to identify you—even if you clear cookies or switch accounts.
Why should we care about browser fingerprints?
Because websites are essentially digital detectives. They use fingerprints to:

- Detect and prevent suspicious or fraudulent activity
- Eliminate fraud and fake accounts
- Track your actions across different visits
Therefore, if you want to stay low-profile and avoid restrictions—especially when managing multiple accounts—it is essential to keep your fingerprint clean and consistent.
How to Check Browser Fingerprint
Want to check your browser fingerprint? Use these tools to examine your fingerprint and spot anything unusual:
- Whoer IP: Check your IP address and make sure it matches your expected location (default Multilogin checker)
- Pixelscan: Get a detailed view of your browser fingerprint
- BrowserLeaks: Detect any fingerprint inconsistencies that might reveal your real identity
The specific process is as follows:

- Launch your Multilogin profile
- Test your fingerprint using one of the tools above
- Look for inconsistencies in IP address, browser version, or operating system
- Adjust settings in Multilogin to fix any mismatches
Will the website know that I am checking my fingerprint?
No! Websites can only see cookies for their own domain. So:
- Multilogin Cookie? Only Multilogin can see these
- Facebook Cookie? This is exactly Facebook's ability
This is called the Same-Origin Policy (SOP) — the way browsers lock your information.
